From October 15 to 17, Consul General Zhang Biao visited Aberdeen. During the visit, he met with Lord Provost David Cameron and Professor Alan Speight, Vice-Principal of the University of Aberdeen. They exchanges views on deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, investment, green energy, culture, education and other areas.

Consul General Zhang also attended the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Confucius Institute of the University of Aberdeen. The Confucius Institute, established in September 2013, provides Chinese language teaching and culture courses and cultural events to the North East Scotland community.
