The Beijing Photography Exhibition, co-hosted by Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) and Edinburgh Airport, opened on 24 June in Edinburgh. Chinese Consul General Pan Xinchun, Mr Ma Wen, Associate Counsel of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Mr Du Qiang, Vice President of BCIA and Mr Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport attended the opening ceremony.

Consul General extended warm congratulations on the exhibition, speaking highly of the new chapter of win-win cooperation between the two airports. He said that the direct air route between Beijing and Edinburgh hugely boosts Sino-Scottish people-to-people exchanges as well as economic, educational, and cultural collaborations. The exhibition at the Edinburgh Airport would provide a new window of exploring Beijing for visitors at the airport.

The exhibition features over 40 photographs, promoting Beijing's rich cultural and tourism resources in a bid to attract more visitors from Scotland and bring the friendly relations between China and Scotland to a new high.
